Sonde Locator
The vLoc3-Cam is the easiest, quickest and most accurate way to locate the position of a sonde. The bright, full-color graphical display guides you to the sonde with directional arrows; when you are directly over it, a large sonde icon appears and depth is confirmed.
Multiple sonde frequencies make it compatible with the major push cameras and crawler cameras on the market. Pushrod Trace mode shows a second display geared to tracing the path of the deployed pushrod — or tracing pipes with an optional portable transmitter.
Two passive modes (Power and Radio) detect live power, CATV, telephone and some metallic pipes. For active locating with a transmitter, an 83.1 kHz frequency traces the pushrod and is ideal for larger water and gas pipes, small drop wires and inducing signal through the soil.
