The AQUAPHON A 50 is the entry point into Sewerin’s acoustic water leak location. It amplifies and filters the leak noise that travels through the pipe wall and the surrounding ground, letting you pinpoint the leak position precisely. The adjustable bandpass filter and 50/60 Hz notch isolate the leak sound from traffic and background interference, and the 2″ FSTN display shows the measured level on a clear 0–999 digit scale.

A two-part sensor system covers the whole survey: the TS 50 carrying rod for listening along the pipe run, and the UM 50 universal microphone for direct contact on fittings, hydrants and valves. Order the SDR (Sewerin Digital Radio) variant for cable-free operation with wireless headphones.

A built-in lithium-ion battery delivers over 20 hours of listening from a charge of under six hours, and the sealed IP65 polycarbonate housing keeps working from -20 °C to 50 °C.
