The Stethophon® 04 by Sewerin is a compact and efficient acoustic listening device designed for detecting and amplifying structure-borne noises, making it particularly effective for pinpointing water leaks in pipelines. Its high-sensitivity oscillation sensor ensures undistorted sound reproduction, even for very low noise levels, facilitating accurate leak detection in various environments.


A standout feature of the Stethophon® 04 is its availability in two configurations: a wired version with cable headphones and the SDR (Sewerin Digital Radio) version equipped with wireless headphones. The SDR version utilizes digital signal transmission, providing sound quality comparable to wired connections while enhancing user comfort by eliminating cables. The headphones and device automatically establish a bidirectional radio connection upon activation, streamlining the setup process.


The device offers eight adjustable filter levels, allowing users to customize the frequency range to suit specific detection scenarios and personal hearing preferences. An automatic hearing protection function safeguards users from sudden loud noises by muting the headphones when noise levels exceed a certain threshold. Additionally, the Stethophon® 04 provides a numeric display of the minimum noise level (ranging from 0 to 1000), aiding in the precise identification of leak locations.
