Utility & EMS Marker Locator
The vLoc3-ML utility locator is a dual-purpose utility locator and EMS marker locator. With two sets of screened 3D antennas, signal distortion is easily detected and shown on the bright full-color display. Along with classic locate screens, the vLoc3 series offers Vector Locate for fully-automatic non-walkover locating, a Transverse Graph showing peak and null simultaneously, Plan View showing cable orientation at any angle, and a graphical Sonde mode with guidance arrows.
The user-configurable vLoc3-ML adds an EMS marker locate mode, eight passive locate modes, fault-find mode, Signal Direction (showing direction of outgoing current), and configurable frequencies from 98 Hz to 200 kHz. Plug-and-play options include a Bluetooth module for external GPS devices and smartphone app support such as the VMMap utility-mapping app.
